Idaho 2008 LGBT Scholarship Directory released!First ever LGBT Directory for IdahoDecember 10, 2007 -- Today the LGBT Scholarship Association (LGBTSA) has announced the release of the first ever Idaho LGBT Scholarship Directory. The directory is available FREE of charge from LGBTSA. Through the kind donations of organizations, businesses, and individuals who believe today's LGBTA young people deserve better (they are credited properly in the directory) this 52 page directory list over 150 scholarships from dozens of sources around the country including some specifically for Idaho LGBTA students. The directory is the creation and compilation of Ellwood Howard who is a former president of Boise State Universities gay student alliance, BGLAD (Bisexuals, Gays, Lesbians, and Allies for Diversity). The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Scholarship Association first and foremost exists to update, reprint, and distribute free of charge the Idaho LGBT Scholarship Directory each year. Our secondary mission is to develop more scholarship opportunities for Idaho's LGBTA students through corporate, non-profit, and personal sponsorships and donations.
